It is just beautiful out here now with the leaves starting to turn. Here we are on the first day of October, it's 20 degrees out and the sun is warming our shoulders. What could make a dog happier? 
Nobody likes a copy cat. Since Leeloo doesn't care what anyone thinks I don't suppose it matters as long as she is having a good time. 
Smashing your way through the grass is a good way to amuse yourself - as long as you don't get grass seeds or leaves in your eyes which I have so far had to remove from two dogs. 
Lots of things to sniff and snort into your nose; things like mouse nests, deer droppings, apple seeds and probably a bug or two ... 
Lots of things that have left a silent trail across the path for Halo to ponder. 
And The Boy, as often as he is gazing adoringly into my eyes, is catching a scent on the wind.
