The Wishing Tree

On the way to the beach along one of the boardwalks we pass by some trees where the grass has been maintained and there is a little space that feels very peaceful. I stopped there on the way back to the truck to let the dogs play and knock some of the sand off their feet so it didn't find its way into my truck.

Archer takes a quiet moment to absorb the scents on a tree that have been accentuated by moisture in the air.
I love this photo ... no matter how annoyed you might get with family ... they are still family. Brothers always. I know you can't really tell in this photo but this is the split second before these two leap into action. They are staring, not right at each other, but slightly off to the side of eye contact and then suddenly they explode into a wrestling match.
Oh ladies ... does your heart melt? He's such a stud muffin. Any second now he's going to flex his bicep - if he had one.
Leeloo and her berries. It's just sad really. You can even see her tongue on the berry before it meets its bitter end.
Just a few minutes prior to leaving Raimi heard a chipmunk or something scolding from a tree and was just fixated on the field between us and where the truck sat. Once a thought gets into his brain it is very hard to dislodge. I did eventually manage to drag him away and it was a very satisfied bunch who slept on the way home.

Okay, the stud-muffin picture? Is he actually WINKING at you? Or did a raindrop get in his eye? LOL...
