White Christmas

Snow. Our first Nova Scotia snow. A genuine Nor'easter so Environment Canada tells me. Archer's first snow ... ever. I opened the door and he did his "What the heck is that?" expression
as the falling snow flakes. He is standing about 5 feet from the door in this photo but he started right at the door. As soon as he saw the snow he scooted backward like a little red coward. This is part way between the head tilt trying to figure out what the white stuff falling down and the white stuff on the deck is supposed to be. If you know my house you will know that he is even further from the door than before. He eventually decided to see what the heck was going on and his first few steps onto that white cold wet stuff was very hard for him. As you can tell "It burns, oh doG it burns!" But our brave little soldier rallied forth ...
And I managed to capture the exact moment when he made up his mind about how he felt about this new fangled invention. Eventually Leeloo came out and demonstrated that not only is snow not as bad as rain, it can actually be lots of fun. They then spent about 20 minutes roaring around the concrete pad off the deck and having a fabulous time. Apparently it's quite easy to sell snow to a puppy.
