Bedtime Stories

I have long been under the impression that Ridgebacks are careful about not stepping in anything that used to be inside their body. Sadly, when they are playing and not paying attention to where they are wrestling, they step in things that are best left outside. So it is with a heavy sigh that I notice the tell tale trail of poo-foot through the house, a couple of circuits of the bathroom mat, from there a straight shot into the bedroom, across the (freshly cleaned) rug, and onto the bed. I no longer lose my temper, instead I start the washer, strip the sheets and promise myself once again that I'll make sure to clean the yard everyday.

Mommy, tell me again why you have to change the sheets on the bed.
