The Joy Luck Club

It was pouring rain in Friday afternoon and even I was loathe to go to the park so Halo got lucky. It also meant that the puppies could not go out in the yard and had to content themselves with chewing on boxes and tracking pee up and down the hall. Yay.

As they get sleepy they start to find places to nap together and it means that taking a group shot is very easy. Living alone presents me with certain challenges that people who have a significant others do not face. Opening a sealed jam jar, lifting heavy objects and wrangling puppies are at the top of the list of things I struggle with on occassion.

So this photo had to be set up, timed and it was taken in a one chance or never moment. It came out pretty well I think. Left to right are Odie, Hunter, Elsa, Missy, Bridget, Rio and Archer. Look at how cute Missy is with her paws over Elsa ...

I love the expressions when they turn their head and make themselves look so alert when you're speaking or making a funny noise.
