GoldenEye

Last night Halo had me up at least 4 times to track her down and stop her walking around the house. Click click click click with the toe nails. LIE DOWN! Then she went to feed babies for about 30 seconds and I had to go in and tell her to stay. Then at 5am she was doing the pee pee dance at the back door. Honestly, it's taken more than two weeks but the day has finally arrived. Halo is sick of the puppies. Thankfully this weekend is their first foray into solid food so at least we can start the weaning process.
The wandering around the whelping box has started. This means that frequently they get 'lost' in a corner or on the wrong side of Halo when she's feeding them. That results in a lot of yelling.

Puppies this age are very good at turning and reversing, going forward is a stumbly wobbly issue. And there's a lot of rolling and falling.

When Halo is in the box she wanders around looking for poop or pee to clean up. While this is very helpful it's also very frustrating to the puppies because they can't see well but know she's there and start yelling if she doesn't sit or lie down.

Mr Green and Mr White using each other for support. You can see Mr White's eyes are misty and not quite as open as an eye should be. Over the next few days they will improve and while they can't see well until they are at least 3 months old, they are starting to see shapes and light from dark.
