Weasley's puppy fascination continues. He is pretty sure they are not vermin but he is not sure either that they are dogs.

I can't imagine what he thinks they are but every chance he gets he's in there walking along the whelping box to get a good look.

He is brave enough to sit in the box to watch them, to get a closer look I imagine. I'm sure once they are running around he will prefer to put a barrier between them ... or at least height.

He's a pretty stable cat too - if they approach him he doesn't have a fit and hiss, he just eases himself out of the way to avoid being touched.

It took him til yesterday to discover that they have tails like the other dogs. He was gently reaching for them as they wiggled back and forth while the puppies ate. Clearly Halo feels he is no threat.

The other two cats I haven't been able to capture with the puppies; Ceilidh because she just doesn't care and only goes in the room to sit by the heater and Mallaig because she is terrified of them, the first couple days she wouldn't even walk past the room. Soon the puppies will be running around like mad and the cats will either make themselves scarce or get right in there to play ... we can guess which cat that would be.
